I'm going to give you five easy morning routines today that will help you wake up feeling more energized, focused, and upbeat.

1. Get up fifteen minutes earlier ⏰

Yes, I am aware that getting up earlier may seem difficult, but believe me when I say that those extra fifteen minutes make a huge difference. Spend a few minutes practicing mindfulness this morning rather than racing through it. You can sit quietly and breathe, stretch, or practice meditation. Before the day's chaos starts, this brief respite helps you decompress.2. Hydrate First 💧

3. Stretch or Work Out Quickly 🏋️‍♀️

To get your body moving in the morning, you must stretch or do a quick workout. Stretching or yoga for even five to ten minutes can increase flexibility and reduce stress. If you enjoy exercising, a quick workout improves your mood for the day and gets your heart rate up. Get your body moving early, whether it's with jumping jacks, yoga, or a brisk walk!

4. Establish Your Daily Goals 🎯

Think about your goals for today for a moment. Setting straightforward goals or intentions can significantly improve your focus, but you don't need a comprehensive to-do list unless that works for you. It might be as easy as "Remain composed and focused" or "Finish your work without interruptions." It will provide a clear goal for your day.

5. Have a nutritious breakfast 🥑

The adage that breakfast is the most significant meal of the day is accurate. Your body and mind are fueled by a healthy breakfast. Select a meal that will provide you with sustained energy, such as a protein-and-green smoothie, scrambled eggs with vegetables, or oatmeal with fruits. Steer clear of sugary pastries or cereals that could give you a quick energy boost but cause a crash later.


Bonus Advice: Put Your Phone Out of Reach

I've recently made it a habit to put my phone away for the first half hour of my morning routine. It's very simple to get caught up in the habit of checking your emails or social media first thing in the morning, but doing so diverts your attention. Rather, put yourself first and begin the day without interruptions.
